We review the huge indoor playground Kiztopia at Marina Square
At a massive 18,000 square feet, “edutainment playground” Kiztopia at Marina Square is one of the biggest indoor playgrounds in Singapore.
Kiztopia is spread out across a whopping 18 different zones that encompass traditional indoor playground activities like a ball pit (actually, there are multiple ball pits), trampolines, slides, and climbing structures, but there is also SO much more!

There are a number of role play and pretend play areas, where kiddos can play dress up with costumes (we saw at least five Elsa dresses, and lots of superhero suits), get their hair done in a salon, shop in a grocery store, and prepare food in a kitchen. This area is particularly friendly for toddlers.
Another toddler-friendly feature is “Raby Pit,” where littlies can dig to their hearts’ content with pebbles (much cleaner than sand!), and the adjacent “Pepe’s Ball” (a smaller ball pit with soft play features) and “Sprite,” with a miniature slide. There are also some cute interactive wooden toys built into the walls for curious little hands to fiddle with.
Meanwhile, “Cosmic Space” is one of the biggest ball pits we’ve ever seen – so big, in fact, that kids can make their way through on a giant mechanical banana boat! This is all at the foot of a huge climbing structure and super twisty tube slide (probably a bit too tall and dark for kiddos under 4).
Nearby there is a massive bouncy castle (“Bouncy Tiger”), fronted by a slow-moving train (“Chug Eli”) that’s also a delight for all ages. On the day we visited, the Ninja Warrior area seemed to to be the most popular with kids; here you’ll find a trampoline and a soft obstacle course that requires climbing, jumping, spinning, and balancing.
There are also some VR and AR (augmented reality) areas, including an electronic basketball screen where kids throw a ball at a moving hoop to get points, and a giant wall where kids can bring inanimate objects to life simply by touching them (similar to the technology at Future World). These areas are cool (less cool: the fact that “Baby Shark” seems to be playing on repeat), but we’d rather kiddos be running around burning off energy when we go to an indoor playground than staring at a screen.
Starting in August, Kiztopia plans to run a variety of fun enrichment classes, including cooking, robotics, music, art, and even rhythmic gymnastics. We like the emphasis on parent-child bonding, and enjoyed the fact that parents were able to play right alongside their kiddos in many of the features. With multiple function rooms and a soon-to-open café (rumored to serve better-than-normal fare like pancakes and Eggs Benedict!), it also looks set to be a hot ticket for birthday parties.
According to Kiztopia, all of its play areas were influenced by the theory of Multiple Intelligences, and designed to promote the skills it touts like logical reasoning, interpersonal relations, physical abilities, and an aptitude for science, among others. That very well may be the case, but even as just a regular old indoor playground it’s a pretty fun spot to be.
Location & Amenities:
Kiztopia is located on the first floor of Marina Square, on the street side facing Raffles Avenue and across from Raffles Link and the Esplanade (we found it a bit tricky to locate when entering from the Raffles Boulevard side).
There’s a handy shoe storage area near the entrance; don’t forget to bring socks! Also note that some of the play areas have height and age restrictions; the Ninja Zone, for example, prohibits children under 6 years of age who are shorter than 130cm.
How much:
Single-entrance tickets range from $28 (1 hour of play), to $38 (3 hours) to $48 (unlimited), with additional options for 15-visit and annual passes. For right now prices are the same on weekdays and weekends, and a ticket includes one child + one adult; additional adults are $8 each. Babies under 12 months enter for free with a paying child and accompanying adult. With a limited time opening special tickets are now starting at $22; click here for more details.
Opening Hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 9pm; Friday & Saturday, 10am to 10pm.
